To enter, just submit your best piece of advice for small business success. Our expert panel will select 100 semi-finalists with the most creative, helpful and clear submissions.
The top 8 semi-finalists will win Grand, First and Second-place prizes as well as a year of free payroll*. Plus, we plan to publish the top advice in Grit & Wisdom: Advice from America’s Hard-Working Small Businesses — so your insights can live on to inspire other businesses.
Yes! Submissions from a small business with 100 and under employees are eligible to enter for a chance to win. That includes submissions from owners, partners, founders, franchise owners, accounting firms, self-employed individuals, sole proprietors or employees.
An internal ADP panel will evaluate all submissions and score entries based on originality, helpfulness and clarity in helping small businesses succeed.
The 100 semi-finalists will receive $500 prepaid debit cards, which will be awarded to the individual submitters. The Grand, First place and Second-place prizes will be awarded to the business, not to employees who enter for their business. The Grand, First and Second-place winners can also receive a year of free payroll*.
No. This contest is open to anyone at least 18 years of age at the time of entry who works for a U.S.-based small business with 100 and under employees, regardless of their current payroll provider. You do not need to become an ADP client to win.
Only one entry may be submitted per individual, but we welcome multiple entries from different employees of a single business. Multiple entrants from the same business can win semi-finalist prizes, but the Grand, First and Second-place prizes are limited to one winner per business.
Our partner agency will notify the 100 semi-finalists before the end of June. The Grand, First and Second-place winners will be notified in July.
Our partner agency will notify all winners by email or phone, collect the appropriate documentation and award the prizes.
