Chris Magno
Senior Vice President, General Manager, ADP Retirement Services
Chris Magno is responsible for the strategic direction of the business, which provides recordkeeping services for a wide range of retirement plan types to meet the needs of small, midsized and enterprise sized companies. Chris has direct oversight for Operations, Client Service, Implementation, Organizational Readiness, Strategy and Marketing – with IT, Finance, and Sales for Retirement Services having strong dotted lines into him.
Chris joined ADP in 2009 to lead the Strategic Finance function and has held several roles of increasing responsibility in that organization, including Sales Controller and Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management. Most recently, Chris led the Client Experience Function for the Retirement Services business and under his leadership, the business accomplished significant achievements, including record levels of client retention and satisfaction.
Prior to ADP, Chris held several positions within the financial services and consumer health care industries, serving as the Head of Strategy and Business Development for the UBS Online Banking Product Suite, and as the U.S. Strategy and Development lead for brands like Advil, Chapstick and Robitussin at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer). Chris is also a Lecturer at Columbia University in the School of Professional Studies.
He is a regular speaker and panelist at New York area risk summits on topics, such as linking risk to strategy, strategic third-party management, and applying data analytics to risk sensing. He is a founding member of the New York area ERM Share Forum.
Chris holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, as well as an undergraduate degree from Manhattan College.
