By turning games into expansive entertainment, they keep thrilling players with characters and stories they can't get enough of. Christine Clark, Payroll Director for North America, shares how moving to ADP Workforce Now® has been game-changing for Light & Wonder.

I pushed to move to Workforce Now because I’m very familiar with the system. It’s very user-friendly. The previews are so fast, and the functionality has just grown to where, why wouldn’t you go with Workforce Now? We added employment verification, full-service wage garnishments and single sign-on. So, we got more features, saved money and got more benefits for our employees. It was really a no-brainer.

Challenges

  • Needed to automate manual processes to improve data accuracy, simplify work and save time.

How ADP helped

  • ADP Workforce Now helped Light & Wonder streamline processes with a direct data feed from its HR system of record, enabling them to pull accurate, custom reports in minutes.
  • Real-time previews save their payroll team a significant amount of time that can be used more strategically.
  • Employee and manager self-service has virtually eliminated calls to HR now that employees can easily access their paystubs and change passwords.

ADP Workforce Now delivers more
Before we moved to ADP Workforce Now, we were looking to move to Workday payroll because Workday is our system of record for HR. However, they kept delaying our start. And then the pandemic hit, and they delayed my start past the pandemic. We needed something that had functionality and features so that we could work smarter, not harder, so we looked at Workforce Now.

While Workday payroll is very customizable, it’s very cumbersome and the client supports the product. You don’t have the same level of support as you get with ADP. I can’t make a phone call and say, “Hey, I need you to set up this calculation. I need you to set up this earnings code for me.” You must do everything in the system yourself and that is extremely time-consuming, and it involves a lot of additional training.

The previews are so fast, and the functionality has just grown to where, why wouldn’t you go with Workforce Now? We added employment verification, full-service wage garnishments and single sign-on.
