Rod Buck grew up in Englewood, Calif., wanting to be Jacques Cousteau, the world-famous explorer. But soon after getting his master’s in Marine Science and Environmental Policy, he grew tired of marine life and began looking for ways to help the environment without leaving the city. In 2006, he launched ChemPack and Environmental, a consultancy that helps aerospace, military and government organizations stay compliant with health and safety regulations.
